A Little About Me and Computer Stress

๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜†    VS   ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ฆ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

I want to be able to get across to people in the computer industry that computer stress is REAL.  The frustrations and anger some of us get when we are on the computer and it goes Down, Crashes, or otherwise removes our data information.  OOPS and we didn't have a chance to save our work.  Or when after writing the perfect program it bombs out for the fifth or sixth time.  It just doesn't go away.  That  x@#$%x computer just does not want to cooperate with me today.

Some people I know some, have actually put their fist through the monitor screen.  They pick up the computer and threw it or they let their own family or pet have it, by cursing at them or God forbid, actually harming them.  I have created a special doll or two that would make this frustration ease up just a little.  By seeing the humor in our own stress situations we computer people can relax just a little more and get done what needs to be done.

For myself, I used to sell Chocolates.  Yes, that is right, chocolate computers, discs, and boards.  Also in my line, I sold stress relief toys, you know those squooshy things,  in the shape of computers. And Magnets, computers hate magnets!  My motto was Have Fun, Not Stress.

Relaxing in a computer stress situation is very hard. But it can bring about the outcome you were looking for the entire time.   Just from smacking, throwing, tossing around the dolls I have created, will create inside of you - A Laugh, A Giggle, A Big Belly Buster.  Then a big sigh of relief overcomes and instead of ranting and raving that the computer is at fault.  You can finally get on with your work.

I have made two dolls.  One is crocheted and is called Pamz Bleep-It Doll.  The other is sitting with a research and development team ready to be put together and put on the shelves of the store that wants to sell it.

My purpose in getting my web site up and running and producing income is to get that doll out of my mind and R&D and into the stores.  I have been dreaming of that day since the late 1980s.

Here's where I tell you about my experience with computer stress.  I was working in a very busy computer room.  I saw first hand what computer people go through.

From the computer operators, and programmers to the management team involved.  Even the computer data entry personnel, sitting outside the computer room.  All are affected by the frustrations and stress that is caused by the computer.  Any Computer.  Not just the work computers either. Ah, yes, the home computers, they can get to you just as well and you don't even know it.

If only we that are computer users would just have had that "Bleep-It Doll." We would not have had to:  Get so frustrated that we took it out on other people or pets; Have had gotten on each other's last nerve; Argued so much during computer times; Gotten fired from jobs; Ruined a computer or its components.  So, now you know, I know computer people.  And I know WE NEED some kind of stress relief from the wonderful little invention called "The Computer."
